Facebook Messenger, Instagram May Not Get End-to-End Encryption Until 2023

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, does not plan roll out end-to-end encryption (E2EE) by default on Messenger and Instagram until 2023.

Google's Pixel 9a is anticipated to hit stores next month.
