Meta has selected ChatGPT co-creator Shengjia Zhao as chief scientist of its new Superintelligence Lab. The move, announced by CEO Mark Zuckerberg, highlights Meta's intensified focus on advanced AI. Zhao is one of several researchers recently joining Meta from OpenAI, as Meta is offering lucrative compensation and striking startup deals to attract top AI talent.
